How do I post on the feed on the Graduway platform?

If admin permissions allow, you can post messages, photos, videos and upload documents to the feed. 

Message text

Type or paste your text into the input field. You can enter up to 4000 characters.

Upload Media

To upload media such as videos or photos, please select "Upload Media" and then choose the desired file:

If you are using the app or mobile browser, you can click "Upload Media" and then select a photo or video from your phone gallery, take a new photo or video, or choose a file.

Your images will preview on the post and you can delete them or upload more.

Please note: You can add up to 20 images in a post. You can add up to 5BG per post.

Once you have selected your photo or video and it begins uploading, you will see this message: 'Your video is uploading. This may take a few minutes. Closing this window at this time will cancel the upload.":

After the video has been uploaded it will begin processing and you will see the following message in the feed:

You can feel free to close the page while the file is processing as it can take up to half an hour until the file is uploaded to the feed.

Please note:  Only the person uploading the file can see this message. 

File Size Limit

You can upload up to 5GB per post. This means you can upload one video up to 5 GB or multiple videos, photos, and files adding up to 5GB.

Supported Video Formats

We support the following video formats:

MP4,

MOV,

AVI,

MPEG,  

WEBM.

However, we do not support the following formats: WMV, AVCHD, MKV, FLV, F4V, and SWF.

Please note: If you try to upload a file in an unsupported format, you will receive an error message from our platform.

Video Resolutions

The following table shows the maximum resolution supported and the corresponding file size limit for videos of different duration.

Attach Files

You can upload up to 5 files to the feed in a post. 

Your files will preview on the post and you can delete them or upload more files.

Add to album

Users can select a current album to add their photos to. The ability to add photos to an album is dependent on admin permissions.

Tag people

If you want users to get a notification that the post is relevant to them, you can tag them in a post. You can tag individual users by selecting their name from a drop-down list or you can Tag All which will send a notification to all users on the platform.
