Resources allow Admins and users to post resources, in the form of files, on the platform for others to see and use. The resources are displayed within folders on the Resources page. It is important to note that all files must be added to a folder and cannot stand alone.
Adding a New Resource Folder
Users who have the relevant permissions to post content on the resources page will be able to add new resource folders. Once they click the New Folder button on the top right, they will be taken to the “new folder” screen. Here they will be prompted to add:
- Folder name - 100 character max.
- Description - 250 character max.
- Image - Upload an image or select a generic image (Image size: 288 x 192 pixels)
- Who can see this folder? - You must select which affiliations can view this folder from a multi-select list.
Completing page one will create the folder and take you directly to the next page to start adding files to the folder. If you leave this page, your folder will still be created, but will be empty.
Adding Files to a Folder
Users who have permissions to add files to a folder will be able to do so by clicking on the Add File button within the folder.
You will be able to upload up to 10 resources or up to 10 links to resources at one time, with no overall limit to the number of files that can be added to a folder. Each file can be a maximum of 100 MB.
You can upload the following file types:
- Word (.doc and .docx)
You will need to attach the file, add a file name and decide which affiliations can see the file.
Users with permissions will be able to edit the folder or the file by clicking on the 3 dots on the top right.
