To invite users to your event, toggle the Do you want to invite an audience switch.
Invite all members
If your event is open to all members of the platform, you should select All.
Once you post the event, all users will receive an invitation in their feed, an on-screen notification and (if using the mobile app) a push notification. If you make changes to your event after posting, they will receive a new notification.*
Invite a segment of members
If want to invite only a segment of members on the platform, you can select filters based on affiliation, location and their profile fields. Your filters may vary from the ones below, depending on your platform's settings.
Once you post the event, all users, who fit your filters, will receive an invitation in their feed, an on-screen notification and (if using the mobile app) a push notification. If you make changes to your event after posting, they will receive a new notification.*
Inviting individual members
You can tag individual members of the platform to invite them to the event.
Once you post the event, all tagged members will receive an invitation in their feed, an on-screen notification and (if using the mobile app) a push notification. If you make changes to your event after posting, they will receive a new notification.*
*Email notifications
Depending on your institution's permissions, you may be able to also send an email invitation. If selected, the invitation will go out immediately after posting the event to all members who you have invited.
