Completing My Mentoring Milestones

As part of the mentoring program that you belong to, you may have mentoring milestones to be completed. These milestones are actions that have been suggested by the administrator of the mentoring program for both the mentor and mentee of the relationship to complete.

These milestones are designed to ensure your mentoring experience is as rewarding and successful as possible.

Once the milestones have been set up for you, you will be able to view them within any of your active mentoring relationships on the platform that are part of that mentoring program. To see the milestones within a mentoring relationship, go to Mentoring → Mentoring Relationships → Current → See Relationship Details.

If you expand the relationship details, you will be able to see all of the milestones that have been assigned to you for this relationship.

They will be listed in the order they are due with the name of the milestone and the due date shown.

For more information on each milestone, including a description from the admin that set it up, you can click on the little arrow on the right to expand the box.

Once you have completed that milestone, you can click on the circle next to ‘Milestone completed’. You will receive a popup letting you know that the milestone was completed.

And that milestone will turn green.

At any stage, you can remove the check from the milestone so that it appears incomplete once again.

NOTE: The administrators of the mentoring program do recommend that the milestones are completed in the order they have been set. However, any of the milestones can be completed at any date, and in any order, while the mentoring relationship is active.

Once the mentoring program that you are a part of has ended, the mentoring relationship will automatically end and any uncompleted milestones will be labeled as incomplete. Once the relationship has ended and a milestone is marked as incomplete, it cannot be completed at a later date.

The ended relationship can be viewed under Mentoring → Mentoring Relationships → Past → Past Mentors/Mentees
