What is an assignee link?

What is it?

After you create a list of Gratavid tasks, you can assign users to complete their specific tasks. Not only can you assign tasks to your internal team members, but you can also assign tasks to external users such as volunteers. We call these external users "external assignees." You can learn more about adding external users under Managing Users.

After a task has been assigned to an external assignee, you can share the user's "assignee link" with them. The user can then use their assignee link to record a video for all their assigned task.

What are the use cases?

Assignee links make it easy for any user (internal or external) to record a list of videos at once. It's pretty common to ask a volunteer to write thank you cards to 20 donors, but now you can ask them to record a personalized thank you video for 20 donors! 

What data is shared with external assignees?

The assignee link automatically pulls the tasks assigned to a user; however, the external assignees are only able to see the contact's first name and the task comments.
