Raise First Drafts deliver everything you need to communicate with your donors directly to your inbox. First Drafts contain all of the most relevant information about your donors from your CRM, so that you can reach out to your donors quickly and efficiently, without having to dig through your database or additional reports.
Why do I keep receiving First Drafts?
Raise will deliver one First Draft per portfolio per day to your inbox. Once you take action on a First Draft, a new one will be sent to you.
When you are ready to stop working on First Drafts for the day, simply ignore or delete the last First Draft you received, and the possession of First Drafts into your inbox will stop. The next business day, you will receive a new First Draft, most likely for the donor that you left off with the previous day.
We recommend that you delete the last First Draft you receive, both to keep your inbox clean and to avoid working from an older First Draft.
Please Note: Taking action on a First Draft other than the most recent one delivered to you will not deliver a new First Draft to your inbox.
Why do I keep receiving Stewardship emails?
Stewardship messages behave very similarly to First Drafts - you will receive a new Stewardship every weekday morning, if you have recently received gifts eligible for a Stewardship message. Once you interact with your daily Stewardship message, if you have more eligible gifts for Stewardship, you will receive another Stewardship First Draft. You will continue to receive a new Stewardship message until you run out of eligible gifts, or stop interacting with your Raise Stewardship prompts. Unlike First Drafts, you will not receive a subsequent Stewardship prompt the next day for the gift that you end your day with. However, if you happen to delete a Stewardship message for a donor that you still wish to reach out to, you can always refer to your Raise Guide report, and request a new Stewardship First Draft from the “Outstanding Stewardship” page.
