The suggested type of meeting (call, coffee, lunch, dinner) is based on the ask amount and distance from the fundraiser.
We use the Yelp API to find an appropriate location based on the selected meeting types. Generally this does mean that if we suggest a location for coffee, that's because the Yelp API reported it as a coffee place.
Please note in order for Raise to suggest in person meetings the Org Admin setting “meeting_types_to_suggest" has to be set to "All Types"
When will Raise suggest a call versus a meeting?
In order for Raise to suggest in person meetings the Org Admin setting “meeting_types_to_suggest" has to be set to "All Types"
We specifically use the annual ask amount for the donor in combination with the donor and fundraiser location. If an ask amount is not provided do we attempt to use recent giving history (not lifetime giving) or capacity in concert with location to determine whether to suggest a meeting and what type of meeting to suggest.
Why isn't Raise learning my communication preferences faster?
Raise may be struggling to update language in a first draft if:
- The user does not send enough first drafts each week
- The user sends an extremely customized message for every email
- The user is removing the bcc line (if they are not on email integration)
- The user is pasting in completely new messaging each time they edit a first draft
If they are having any trouble with their language they can email support@gravyty.com or submit a template
